Andrew Rybold

Andrew Rybold has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Andrew started their career in the US Navy, serving as an Executive Department Division Officer and later as a Reactor Department Division Officer. In these roles, they led and oversaw maintenance operations across nuclear propulsion plants, as well as humanitarian relief efforts and global deployments.

After leaving the Navy, Andrew joined Fresenius Medical Care North America as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Here, they played a crucial role in the design transfer of new hemodialysis devices to manufacturing, including tasks related to production assembly, parts logistics, quality systems, and regulatory submissions.

Most recently, Andrew worked at ZEISS Medical Technology, where they held several quality management positions. As a Senior Quality Engineer, they were responsible for establishing an ISO 13485:2016 compliant Quality System for a startup company, which later got acquired by ZEISS. Andrew then progressed to the role of Quality Assurance Manager and currently serves as the Director of Quality, overseeing quality-related operations at the company.

Andrew Rybold has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, which they obtained between 2003 and 2008. Andrew later attended the Naval Nuclear Propulsion School/Naval Nuclear Power Training Command from 2010 to 2011 for Master's level education as a Class Leader. From 2014 to 2016, they enrolled in Old Dominion University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering/Industrial Management. Additionally, Andrew has obtained certifications as a Nuclear Engineering Officer from Naval Reactors and as an EIT from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
