Jörn Hering

Jörn Hering has extensive work experience in the field of user experience (UX) design. Jörn is currently working as a UX Lead at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as a UX Lead at ZEISS Microscopy from January 2020 to August 2021. Jörn also has experience working at Designit, where they held the positions of Lead Designer UX from December 2018 to December 2019, and Senior User Experience Designer from September 2016 to November 2018. Jörn worked as a Senior User Experience Architect at DigitasLBi from June 2013 to August 2016. Prior to that, Jörn worked as a User Experience Architect at AKQA from August 2011 to May 2013. Jörn started their career at Interone as a Concepter/User Experience Architect from November 2006 to August 2011 and also worked as a Media Expert at Axxom Software AG from November 2003 to October 2006.

Jörn Hering attended the University of Tübingen from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Diploma in Media Studies/ Media Practice. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2001, they studied at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, receiving a State Examination in Piano & Pedagogy.
