Rita Tomé

Rita Tomé has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Rita started their career as a Software Engineer at OutSystems in January 2015 and held that position until October 2018. Rita then transitioned to the role of UX Owner from February 2018 to October 2018. Following that, they worked as a Product Designer from October 2018 to January 2019. Rita then took on the position of Senior Product Designer at OutSystems from January 2019 to April 2022. Currently, they are working as a UX Team Lead at OutSystems since May 2021. Prior to their time at OutSystems, Rita worked as a Colaboradora at AEIST - Associação dos Estudantes do Instituto Superior Técnico from May 2012 to January 2013. Rita also served as Relações Internas at XIX Semana INFormática do IST (SINFO) from September 2011 to March 2012.

Rita Tomé has a diverse education history. In 2018, they obtained a Certification in User Experience from Nielsen Norman Group. Additionally, they earned a CSD® CERTIFIED SCRUM DEVELOPER from Scopphu in the same year. In 2015, Rita obtained an Associate Developer qualification from OutSystems. Rita pursued a Master's degree in Engenharia Informática e de Computadores (MEIC) from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2012 to 2014. Rita also completed a Master's degree program from Technische Universität Graz in 2013. Earlier, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Engenharia Informática e de Computadores (LEIC) from Instituto Superior Técnico between 2009 and 2013. Rita's secondary education took place at Escola Secundária com 2º e 3º ciclo Professor Reynaldo dos Santos, where they completed their Ensino Secundário degree in Ciências e Tecnologias from 2003 to 2009. Rita attended Escola Dr Sousa Martins from 2001 to 2003 for their 2º ciclo education. In terms of certifications, Rita has obtained various qualifications, including UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group, learning courses from LinkedIn, and information visualization and UX management certifications from The Interaction Design Foundation. Rita also holds an IELTS - International English Language Testing System certificate obtained in September 2012 from the British Council, IDP, University of Cambridge.
