Karl Lamprecht

Karl Lamprecht has over two decades of leadership experience in the technology and consulting sectors, currently serving as President & CEO of ZEISS Group and a member of its Executive Board since September 2005. Additional roles include Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and member of the Supervisory Board at Körber. Previously, Lamprecht held various executive positions within Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH and served as Investment Director at AdAstra Venture Consult GmbH as well as Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company. Academic credentials include an M.B.A. in Analytic Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and dual degrees in Physics, culminating in a Dr. rer. nat. from Universität Innsbruck.
