Marika Baltscheffsky has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marika started their career as a Business Services Intern at The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in 2010. Marika then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Brown University Department of Engineering from 2010 to 2013.

Marika later joined Red Bull North America as a Student Brand Manager - Local Sales and Marketing from 2011 to 2012. Marika then joined Digitas North America, where they held multiple roles including Account Executive, Creative Strategist, and Account Manager, working with clients such as AstraZeneca and L'Oreal.

From 2016 to 2019, Marika worked at Google, starting as an Agency Account Manager and later becoming an Agency Development Manager and Agency Performance Manager, overseeing Swedish media partners and leading commercial initiatives for YouTube.

In 2019, Marika joined MEDS (meds.se) as the CMO, responsible for marketing and communications. Marika was recognized as the CMO of the Year within the health vertical in 2021. Concurrently, they also served as an Advisor & Investor at The Buddy Company and Vaam.

Marika then took on the role of CEO at The Baltscheffsky/Landgren Family, managing the newly formed family and going on maternity leave from April 2021 to January 2022.

Most recently, starting in April 2023, Marika has been appointed as the CMO at Carla.

Marika Baltscheffsky completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Brown University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium from 2006 to 2009 and obtained their high school diploma with a focus on Social Sciences. Additionally, in 2008, they participated in the Brown University Leadership Institute, studying Leadership and Conflict Resolution.

Marika Baltscheffsky has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the "Certifierad Styrelseledamot" program at StyrelseAkademien, which is focused on board membership. In the same year, they also completed the "Styrelseutbildning - Rätt fokus i styrelsearbetet" program at DISP – Styrelseakademien för digital spetskompetens, which emphasizes the right focus in board work. Most recently, in December 2022, they acquired the "Video for Sales" certification from Vaam, demonstrating competence in sales-related video production.
