Robert Healy

Robert Healy currently serves as the Head of the Department of Clinical Sciences at Carle Illinois College of Medicine since November 2021. In addition, Robert Healy has held various roles at Carle Health since July 1991, including Associate Chief Medical Officer for Quality, Patient Safety and Experience, Physician, and Designated Institutional Officer, and has acted as Interim Head of Graduate Medical Education. Prior to these positions, Robert Healy was the Chief Medical Quality Officer at Carle Foundation Hospital from January 2013 to November 2021. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety Management from Thomas Jefferson University (2013-2016), a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine (1984-1988), and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1980-1984).
