Richard Sabourin

Richard Sabourin, CPP, CMM III, is a seasoned security executive with extensive experience in campus safety and patrol operations. Since April 2005, Richard has held various leadership positions at Carleton University, currently serving as the Director of Patrol Services - Campus Safety Services, where oversight of Patrol Services Section and direct supervision of seven managers is central to the role. Previous positions at Carleton University included Staff Sergeant, responsible for directing sensitive investigations and managing case loads, and Special Constable, focusing on preventative education and relationship-building on campus. Prior experience with Securitas Canada as a Field Supervisor involved the management of security teams and operations. Richard holds an educational background from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
