Verónica Norando

Verónica Norando is an experienced academic currently serving as an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University since July 2023, where responsibilities include supervising Master's and Ph.D. students. In 2024, Verónica will be a Professor at the University of Ottawa, teaching courses such as "Gender and Globalization in a Transnational World" and "History of the Indigenous Peoples in Canada," while also focusing on inclusivity and student engagement. Previous roles include a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, as well as an Assistant Professor at the University of Buenos Aires, overseeing history classes and directing research teams. Verónica's research includes significant contributions to the Argentine textile industry from a gender studies perspective, with over 15 international publications and two books. Educational qualifications include a Postdoctoral degree in History and a Ph.D. from the University of Buenos Aires.
