David Lamb is an accomplished scientist with significant contributions in the fields of physics and precision agriculture. Currently serving as Chief Scientist and Deputy CEO at Food Agility since July 2018, David manages the research agenda for this Cooperative Research Centre. David also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of New England, engaging in leadership and research since 2002, and has played a pivotal role in establishing the university's Precision Agriculture Research Group. With a career in academia that began in 1993, David has held multiple roles at various institutions, including Science Director at CRC for Spatial Information and Associate Lecturer at Charles Sturt University. David's research experience spans over four decades, leading numerous multidisciplinary R&D projects across various agricultural sectors. David's academic credentials include a PhD and honours degree in gaseous electronics and plasma physics from the University of New England.
