Valerie Tapia

Valerie Tapia has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an ASB and Credit Recovery Teacher, ASB and AVID Teacher, and ASB and English Teacher at Carlsbad Unified School District since August 2018. Prior to this role, Valerie worked at San Bernardino Unified School District from August 2013 to July 2018 as an English, AVID, and ASB Teacher, as well as a Cheerleading Advisor and Coach. Valerie's earlier positions include Program Assistant at CSUSB and Office Assistant at University Book Exchange, along with customer service roles at the City of San Bernardino and Swift Transportation. Valerie's educational background includes a Preliminary Administrative Credential in Educational Leadership from National University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Brandman University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from California State University-San Bernardino, complemented by an Associate of Arts from San Bernardino Valley College.
