Snorre Welling

Snorre Welling currently serves as the Head of Trade Sanctions at Carlsberg Group, a position held since September 2020. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Legal Counsel at Carlsberg UK and Senior Legal Manager at Carlsberg Group. Welling has extensive expertise in legal matters related to marketing, antitrust, trade sanctions, and contracts. Previous positions include Senior Legal Counsel at KMD, Head of Section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark, Special Advisor at the Danish Competition Authority, and Attorney-at-Law at Plesner, focusing on competition law. Welling has been involved with the Danish Competition Authority in a leadership capacity and has interned at Kammeradvokaten and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Welling holds a Master of Law from Københavns Universitet and an LLM in European Union Law from Lund University.
