Katie Heckert

Katie Heckert is a Florida Board Certified Specialist in Construction Law with extensive experience as a Shareholder at Carlton Fields since November 2010, where expertise includes advising and representing construction clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation proceedings. Prior roles include serving as an Attorney and a Summer Associate at Carlton Fields, as well as law clerk positions at GEICO, AARP, and DHS. Katie Heckert holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The George Washington University Law School and an MPA in Organizational and Community Change from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by a Bachelor of Journalism in Strategic Communications, along with minors in Business, Political Science, and Public Service Leadership from the same institution.
