Katy Linburg

Vice President of Operations at Carma Technology

Katy Linburg has a rich work experience spanning over 10 years. Katy began their career in 2008 as the Media and Public Relations Chairman at the Baylor University Chamber of Commerce. In this role, they managed all communications, public relations, and media relations efforts and supervised a 12-person committee. Katy then moved to the Dallas Regional Chamber in 2010 as a Marketing, Communications and Event Coordinator. In 2013, they were appointed as the Director of Business Development & Marketing at Legacy ER & Urgent Care, where they headed the Marketing and Business Development Department and managed staff of company marketing and business development professionals. In 2016, they joined the Family Partnership Center as the Director of Marketing and Development, handling the design, implementation, and management of all marketing, communications, & public relations initiatives. In 2017, they joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County as the Community Engagement Manager and also began working at Carma Technology as the Vice President of Operations. At Carma Technology, they oversaw operations for the successful deployment of the first automated vehicle occupancy verification smartphone app, GoCarma, and was the project lead and implementation supervisor for the world's first self-driven high occupancy carshare program in collaboration with Toyota Motors North America.

Katy Linburg received a Bachelor's degree from Baylor University in 2006-2010, where they studied Public Relations/Journalism and Business Administration. Katy then went on to receive their Master's Degree from Eastern University in 2014-2016, where they studied International Development. In 2020, they obtained a Project Management Certificate from Cornell University. Katy also holds a Certification in Nonprofit Marketing from the Center for Nonprofit Management.
