Nick Bakalyar

Nick Bakalyar is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in incident management and technical support. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer in ITSM at CarMax since February 2023, Nick previously held the position of Vice President - Senior Major Incident Manager at Citi from August 2016 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing severity 1, 2, and 3 major incidents and evaluating business and customer impacts. Earlier in Nick's career, notable roles included Major Incident Manager at CSC from June 2009 to June 2016, focusing on priority incident resolution, communication, training, and team leadership, alongside experience as a Subject Matter Expert and Service Desk Analyst. Nick holds an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology from ITT Technical Institute, obtained in 2009.
