Randy Brewton

Randy Brewton is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in architecture and technology leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at CarMax since November 2019, Randy has held various architectural roles, including Principal Solutions Architect and Solutions Architect. Prior to CarMax, Randy worked at Nationwide as an IT Architect, providing architectural guidance for communication and collaboration technologies. Randy also held the position of Chief IT Architect at DMG Consulting LLC, leading IT architecture initiatives for multiple clients. Earlier experience includes roles as IT Manager at State Auto Insurance and Enterprise Architect at Progressive Insurance, focusing on developing technology roadmaps and optimizing IT strategies. Randy's career began as a System Engineer at Nortel, specializing in infrastructure technologies. Randy earned a degree from UNC Charlotte's Belk College of Business from 1985 to 1989.
