Ethan Sorrelgreen

Ethan Sorrelgreen is the current Chief Product Officer at Carmera, a company that builds living HD Maps. Ethan has been with the company since October 2016. Prior to joining Carmera, Sorrelgreen was an Engineering Manager at Amazon, where they were responsible for leading and building teams responsible for processing and managing large scale, worldwide, geospatial data and a machine learning platform in order to deliver the Amazon Maps app and Amazon Maps API for Fire phone and Fire tablets. Ethan also oversaw the entire Maps Data and Services org, which was comprised of over half a dozen engineering and QA teams split between the US and India as well as TPMs and a Cartographer. These team's were responsible for worldwide geospatial data processing, services like routing and map display, and some map application features.

Ethan Sorrelgreen completed a BS in Astronomy and a Physics Minor from Haverford College. Ethan also has a Certificate in Geographic Information Science from San Francisco State University.

They work with Justin Day - CTO, Patrick Ainslie - Head of Operations, and Jessie Lazarus - Head of Ecosystem, Business Development. Ethan Sorrelgreen reports to Ro Gupta, CEO.
