Maggie Smith

Maggie Smith currently serves as a Board Member and Secretary for the Waterbury Land Bank Authority and as a Board Member for the Southbury Middlebury Scholarship Foundation, Inc. Since September 2021, Maggie has worked as an Associate Attorney at Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP. Previous experience includes a legal internship at KERNAN, SCULLY & MCDONALD, LLP, and an internship under the Honorable Evelyn M. Daly at the Farmington Regional Probate Court. Additionally, Maggie coordinated a toy and book drive for Connecticut Children's Medical Center and worked as a ski instructor at Mohawk Mountain Ski Area. Educational background includes a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature and Spanish from Fairfield University.
