Malachy Fahey

Malachy Fahey has a strong background in risk management and finance. Malachy is currently working at Carne Group as an Associate Director - Risk and Valuations since May 2023. Prior to this, they held roles at Challenger Limited as a Portfolio Analyst from September 2019 to March 2020, Wellington Management as a Fund Controller from October 2015 to July 2017, BNY Mellon as a Senior Fund Accountant - Alternative Investment Services from September 2013 to September 2015, and CACEIS as a Vanilla Funds Officer from January 2012 to August 2012.

Malachy Fahey completed their education with a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Economics and Finance from the University of Limerick between 2009 and 2013. Malachy also participated in the Erasmus Exchange Program at Aix-Marseille University in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Leaving Certificate from St. Fintans CBS Doon from 2003 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Malachy holds certifications in Level II of the CFA exam from the CFA Institute and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR®) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
