Yi Zeng is a prominent academic and leader in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), currently serving as a Professor at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where Yi Zeng also directs the Brain-inspired Cognitive Intelligence Lab and the International Research Center for AI Ethics and Governance. As Director of the Center for Long-term Artificial Intelligence, Yi Zeng focuses on the societal and ecological impacts of AI, exploring areas such as AI ethics, governance, and safety. Yi Zeng is a member of the UN Secretary General's High-level Advisory Body on AI and a Senior Fellow at the UN Institute for Disarmament Research, concentrating on AI for peace and security.
