Darcie Draudt-Véjares, PhD, is a seasoned expert in international relations with a focus on Asian studies and political science. Currently serving as a Fellow in the Asia Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace since February 2024, Draudt-Véjares also holds a position as a Nonresident Fellow at The National Bureau of Asian Research. Past roles include Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and research leadership positions at the Korea Economic Institute of America and Sino-NK. Draudt-Véjares’s academic credentials include a PhD in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master's degree in Korean Studies from Yonsei University, and a Bachelor's with Honors in Anthropology from Davidson College.
