Manager, Event Services at Carnegie Hall

Tamara Schuler is the Manager of Event Services at Carnegie Hall. Tamara has over 10 years of experience in event planning and management.

Tamara began their career as an Events Coordinator and Studio Manager at Chestnuts in the Tuileries, a small event planning company in New York City. Tamara was responsible for all aspects of event coordination, from writing proposals and creating concept boards to managing client relationships and temporary event staff.

In 2009, Tamara left Chestnuts to pursue a freelance career in event management. Tamara worked with renowned event planner David Tutera on several high-profile events before returning to the corporate world in 2011 as an Event Coordinator for Jerry Rose Floral + Event Design. In this role, they were responsible for project management and implementation of private events, including negotiating with vendors, sourcing and prepping all food and beverages, and managing temporary event staff.

In 2013, Tamara joined the Tenement Museum as a Special Events Assistant. In this role, they worked closely with the Manager of Evening Events to market, sell, and plan evening programs and space rentals. Tamara also assisted in increasing brand visibility and developing relationships with local businesses and rental clients.

Tamara’s extensive experience in event planning and management has made their an invaluable asset to Carnegie Hall. In their current role as Manager of Event Services, they are responsible for all aspects of event planning and execution, from marketing and sales to logistics and customer service. Under their leadership, Carnegie Hall’s event services department has become one of the most respected and sought-after event venues in New York City.

Tamara Schuler has a BFA in Graphic Design and Advertising from the School of Visual Arts, and a certification from the American Heart Association in Heartsaver CPR AED. Tamara also has a certification from the Fire Department of the City of New York in Certificate of Fitness / Indoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel.

Their manager is Sarah Zeltzer, Director, Event Services.
