Randall Scarborough is currently serving as Lab Manager and Aquaculture Specialist at the Carnegie Institution for Science, managing the relocation of the Hawaiian bobtail squid research lab to California, housed at CalTech. Previously, Randall held similar positions at Kewalo Marine Lab from October 2016 to March 2022, overseeing operations related to Hawaiian bobtail squid and vannamei shrimp, while also supervising undergraduate research projects. From March 2014 to October 2016, Randall worked at the Oceanic Institute as a Research Laboratory Technician, focusing on sea urchin hatchery development to mitigate harmful algal blooms. Randall's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Environmental Science from Emory University, earned between 2005 and 2010, alongside experience as a graduate student and researcher in various roles.
