Michael Thorp

Michael Thorp, Ph.D., serves as a consultant at Scott Healy & Associates since July 2017, specializing in institutional strategic planning, departmental audits, interim placements, and executive coaching for new Vice Presidents. Additionally, Michael is an MSCHE Peer Evaluator since September 2020 and held the position of Interim Vice President of Enrollment Management at Clarkson University from March 2023 to August 2024. Prior to this, Michael was Associate Vice President for Enrollment at York College of Pennsylvania from August 2017 to March 2023. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Policy from Jackson State University, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Louisville, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Wabash College. Furthermore, Michael participated in a program at Harvard Graduate School of Education in late 2020.
