Dominik Moritz is an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University in the Human-Computer-Interaction Institute, co-leading the Data Interaction Group. Currently, Dominik serves as a Research Scientist in AI/ML at Apple, managing the visualization team and developing tools for visualization and machine learning. Previously, Dominik held positions at Streamlit, the University of Washington as a Research Assistant, and interned at Microsoft and Google, contributing to various projects focused on visualization and database systems. Dominik earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in IT Systems Engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute.
