Dudley Reynolds

Dudley Reynolds is a Professor of English at Carnegie Mellon University since June 2007, focusing on first-year writing for multilingual students and advanced electives in areas such as rhetorical grammar and intercultural communication. Reynolds has served as the Senior Associate Dean for Education, overseeing various academic services and initiatives, and held the position of Area Head for Arts and Sciences, managing course scheduling and faculty supervision. In addition to roles at CMU, Reynolds has contributed to TESOL International Association, where experiences include serving as President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, and a Board member, significantly impacting policy and budget management for the organization. Prior academic experience includes positions at the University of Houston and Georgia State University, alongside roles in curriculum development consulting. Reynolds holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Davidson College.
