Guadalupe Quirarte

Graduate Student Researcher

Guadalupe Quirarte, PhD, is currently a Graduate Student Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, having begun this role in August 2020. Prior experience includes serving as an HMC Engineering Clinic Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories and a Mathematics Academic Excellence Tutor at Harvey Mudd College, where focus encompassed problem-solving strategies in multivariable calculus, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, and differential equations. Additionally, Guadalupe held roles as a Physics Grader and Physics Student Researcher, concentrating on Quantum Information Science. Research fellowships at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and Caltech included work on advanced LIGO technology. Guadalupe earned a Bachelor of Science in Joint Mathematics and Physics from Harvey Mudd College in 2020 and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, expected to complete in 2025.
