Majd Sakr

Majd Sakr serves as the Chief Learning and Research Officer for Accenture LearnVantage since May 2024. With extensive experience in academia, Majd Sakr has been a Teaching Professor at Carnegie Mellon University since October 2006, previously holding roles such as Associate Teaching Professor, Assistant Dean for Research at the Qatar Campus, and Coordinator of the Computer Science Program in Qatar. Prior experience includes a position as Assistant Professor at the American University of Science and Technology from January 2004 to September 2006 and graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh from 1992 to 2003, where a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering was attained. Additionally, Majd Sakr gained research experience as a Research Intern at NEC Research Institute from 1994 to 2000.
