Helen Hazen

Helen Hazen is an experienced academic in the field of Geography, currently serving as a Lecturer and Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Denver since September 2013. Previously, Helen Hazen held the position of Research Scholar and Visiting Assistant Professor at Macalester College from September 2005 to August 2014, engaging in research on out-of-hospital birth in Minnesota and childhood diarrhea in Peru, as well as teaching various geography courses. Helen Hazen also served as an Instructor at the University of Minnesota--Twin Cities from 2002 to 2004, teaching courses such as Geography of Health and Population Geography. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geography (2001-2006) and a Master's degree in Geography (1998-2000) from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Oxford (1993-1996).
