Clarissa Morales

Deputy Director

Clarissa Morales currently serves as Deputy Director and Director of Collections & Exhibitions Management at the Carnegie Museum of Art, where responsibilities include directing the museum's exhibition program and overseeing conservation initiatives. Previously, Clarissa held the position of Director of Collections, Conservation & Exhibitions at the Cantor Arts Center, Stanford University, managing strategic initiatives and overseeing over 25 exhibitions annually. Prior experience includes roles as Exhibition Project Manager at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Exhibition Management Coordinator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, Coordinator for the French American Museum Exchange, and Exhibitions Assistant at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Clarissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy with a minor in Art History from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and completed the Stanford Manager Academy Certificate. Additional educational experience includes studying at CEA GlobalCampus in Paris and Université Paris-Sorbonne.
