Merdith Spahic

Merdith Spahic has extensive experience in the arts and cultural sector, currently serving as a Visitor Services Associate and Gallery Ambassador at Carnegie Museum of Art since October 2018. In this role, Merdith has contributed to two major international exhibitions, providing customer service and support. Previously, Merdith worked as an Arts Education Programmer at Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, where responsibilities included event coordination, collaborative programming, and artist communication. Merdith has also held co-curatorial positions for exhibitions at Chatham University, focusing on themes such as family history and animal symbolism in African art. Merdith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management with a focus on Art History/Design and Marketing, along with a minor in museum/curatorial studies from Chatham University in December 2022.
