Before that, they served as the Crowne Meeting Director & Catering Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza Williamsburg from 2010 to 2012, where they handled all aspects of event planning for various conference groups. Kelly also worked as a Catering Sales Manager at Western Golf Properties, LLC from 2008 to 2010, achieving the sales goal of $750,000 per year and organizing various types of events.

Kelly Kinsey started their education journey in 1996 at The University of Akron, where they pursued Culinary Arts. Kelly completed their Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts in 1998. Afterward, from 1998 to 2000, they attended Youngstown State University, specializing in Hospitality Management. Kelly graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Hospitality Management in 2000.
