Naomi Crown

Senior Director, Institutional Partnerships at Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh

Naomi Crown's work experience begins in 1998 at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, where they worked as a Development Assistant until December 2000. From 2002 to 2004, they served as the Membership Coordinator and Guest Services Manager at the Children's Museum of Richmond. Naomi then joined the University of Mary Washington in 2004 as the Associate Director of Annual Giving until April 2008. From April 2008 to February 2012, Naomi worked at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Engineering Foundation as the Director of Annual Giving and External Relations. Naomi'snext role was at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, where they served as the Corporate Relationship Manager from April 2012 to February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Institutional Partnerships at Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh starting from February 2022.

Naomi Crown received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Naomi then pursued their Master of Arts degree in Art History/Museum Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University, completing their studies from 1996 to 1998.
