Andrew Guntrum

Andrew Guntrum is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional with extensive experience in design and project management. Currently serving as Mechanical Engineering Manager at Carnegie Robotics LLC since November 2015, Andrew collaborates with the engineering team on product commercialization and customization. Prior to this role, positions at L-3 Communications included Engineering Process Manager and Sr. Mechanical Designer, where Andrew led mechanical design on projects involving Small Arms Fire Control and Tracking Systems, utilizing software such as Creo and AutoCAD. Earlier experiences include roles as Mechanical Drafter at Cleaveland/Price Inc. and Mechanical Designer at Ansaldo STS, focusing on electronic disconnect switches and railroad switches, respectively. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Point Park University and an Associate Degree in Mechanical Drafting from Pittsburgh Technical College.
