Carlos Rodriguez Velazquez

Carlos Rodriguez Velazquez is a seasoned professional in architecture and design, currently serving as the Director of Architecture Design & Development at Carnival Corporation since March 2023, focusing on the development of new cruise ports and destinations. Previously, Carlos managed the Worldwide Building Design Program for Amazon in the LATAM region and held the position of Senior Design Manager at AECOM. Carlos also contributed significantly at Carnival Corporation from 2012 to 2020 as an Architectural Project Manager, where responsibilities included the design and construction of new cruise terminals and private islands. Earlier experience includes managerial roles at Walmart, overseeing logistics expansion and architectural design. Carlos's educational background includes a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a D.E.A. in Architecture from UPC School, along with additional qualifications in logistics.
