Minkie Spiro has a diverse work experience in the film and television industry, spanning over several years. Minkie started their career as a Film & TV Director for Channel Four in 2000 and worked there until 2007. Minkie then joined BBC Television as a Film & TV Director from 2000 to 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Director for Tidy Productions on the show "Stella" from March to July. Minkie also directed the popular show "Call The Midwife" for Neal Street Productions from July 2012 to February 2014. Minkie Spiro joined Carnival Film & Television Limited in 2014 and directed several episodes of "Downton Abbey" along with the Christmas Special. Minkie also directed the opening block for the sixth season of "Downton Abbey." Additionally, they served as the Director for a Comic Relief sketch for the BBC in 2013.

Minkie Spiro has pursued education in film directing, obtaining a Master of Arts degree from the Royal College of Art. Additionally, they have studied photography and audio-visual work at Central St Martins Art School, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design.
