Wai-Lan Lam

Wai-Lan Lam has a wealth of experience in the legal and business affairs sector, with a focus on the film and television industry.

Wai-Lan began their career at BBC, where they held various positions as a Commercial Executive, Contracts Executive, Rights Executive, and Legal & Business Affairs Executive from 2005 to 2008.

In 2008, they joined Avalon Entertainment as a Legal and Business Affairs Executive, and later worked as a Legal Counsel at Tyche Consulting Ltd in 2011.

From 2012 to 2015, Wai-Lan Lam worked as a Manager of Legal & Business Affairs at Universal Pictures.

Their next position was at Focus Features, where they served as a Director of Legal & Business Affairs from 2015 to 2018.

During 2018, they briefly worked as a Legal Counsel at Avalon Entertainment, before joining Carnival Film & Television Limited.

At Carnival, Wai-Lan Lam held multiple roles, including Director of Legal & Business Affairs, VP of Legal & Business Affairs, and currently serves as the Head of Business & Legal Affairs.

Wai-Lan Lam completed their BA Hons in History at the University of Warwick from 1999 to 2002. Following this, they pursued their GDL / LPC at BPP Law School, which they completed from 2005 to 2009.
