Matt Rasmussen is a seasoned professional in food safety and sanitation management with a diverse background in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as the Food Safety Manager at Carnivore Meat Company since November 2022, Matt previously held roles such as Waste Treatment and Safety Manager at Astro Ind, Inc., and Sanitation/Production Supervisor at Borden. With extensive experience in operational management, quality assurance, and team leadership, Matt has successfully managed sanitation audits, waste treatment protocols, and production processes across multiple companies. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ripon College and has developed a strong foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of food production and safety.
