Kathy Heflin is a seasoned cardio dance/Zumba instructor who has taught at Carol Stream Park District since July 2022. Prior to this, Kathy worked as a business teacher and department chair at Glenbard East High School from August 1980 to June 2014. Kathy holds a Master's Degree & CAS in Education & Educational Leadership from National Louis University, as well as a B.S. Ed in Business Education from Northern Illinois University.

Carol Stream Park District

The Carol Stream Park District is recognized as one of the best in the state, winning two national gold medals and being the first in Illinois to receive a LEEDS Silver Certification for the eco-friendly facility, Fountain View Recreation Center.
