Maria Alejandra G.

Maria Alejandra G. has extensive experience in nonprofit management and community organizing, currently serving as the Part-Time Adult Volunteer Literacy Program Coordinator at Albany Park Community Center since June 2019. Parallel to this role, Maria Alejandra contributes to North Park University as an Executive Planner for the Voyage Activities Board, Orientation Coordinator, and Overnight Host, all while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, expected to be completed in 2022. Maria Alejandra also holds the position of Deputy Executive Director at Fuego, a nonprofit focused on Educational Justice, and serves as a Community Organizer for United We Dream since July 2018. Prior experience includes an internship at Albany Park Community Center from January to April 2019, following a foundational education at Noble Chicago Bulls College Prep from 2013 to 2017.
