Katherine White

Katherine White is the current Director at Carolina Ballet. Katherine has a long and accomplished history in the field of arts administration. Katherine was previously the Director of Operations and Finance at Oakland Symphony from March 2020 to February 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations at Oakland Ballet Company from August 2019 to February 2020. From January 2019 to July 2019, they took a professional writing sabbatical. Before that, they were the Director of Development at Spark Program from June 2018 to January 2019. Katherine has also held positions as the Director of Operations and Development at Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) from August 2016 to June 2018, Operations/Personnel Manager at Calliope Arts and Entertainment, and Lead COVID Compliance Officer at Safe Spaces, LLC. Lastly, they were the Founding Executive Director at New Winston Museum from September 2012 to August 2016.

Katherine White has a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a certification from Health Education Services in COVID-19 Compliance Officer.
