Amy Austin

Amy Austin has held various positions in the medical and sales industries since 2001. Amy began their career at Witten Lumber Company, where they served as Sales Coordinator, Inside Sales, and Office Manager from 2001 to 2013. Amy then moved to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, where they served as a Medical Laboratory Technician from 2013 to 2014. Finally, they joined the Carolina BioOncology Institute in 2014, where they have held the roles of Director of Quality Management Systems, Quality Systems Manager, Human Applications Lab Manager, Operations Manager, and Clinical Lab Manager.

Amy Austin has an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) in Medical Laboratory Technology from Central Piedmont Community College, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013. Amy has also obtained an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence from ASQ - World Headquarters in July 2022. Additionally, they have certifications from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (CCRC) and the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) (MLT).
