Chaplain at Carolina Caring

Cynthia Jordan serves as a Chaplain at Carolina Caring since July 2018 and is the founder of CJordan Global Ventures, where wellness entrepreneurship has been a focus since January 2013. Cynthia offers the 10-day Transformation program, assisting individuals and groups in reclaiming their physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental health. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Spiritual Care at Catawba Valley Medical Center from July 1996 to July 2010 and as a Mental Health Counselor/Addictions Specialist at Charleston Area Mental Health from October 1990 to June 1996. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Ministry (ABD) in Indigenous Wisdom Studies from Wisdom University and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Carolina Caring was founded in 1979 by volunteers dedicated to providing end of life care for both patients and families residing in Catawba County, North Carolina and its surrounding counties. Today, our team of professionals and volunteers serves more than 300 hospice patients. Our Mission is to provide world class, compassionate care by engaging all individuals and their families to enhance living. A comprehensive program of medical care, counseling, and spiritual support for patients and families is offered regardless of diagnosis, age, gender, nationality, race, faith, sexual preference, disability, or ability to pay. Carolina Caring is licensed by the state of North Carolina, certified by Medicare and Medicaid, is nationally accredited, and complies with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy practices.
