Randy McKay

Randy McKay serves as the President and CEO of Carolina Theatre of Durham since January 2021. Prior to this role, McKay was the Executive Director of JEFFERSON LIVE! LLC, which manages the Cascade Theatre in Redding, CA, and the Holly Theatre in Medford, OR, from March 2013 to December 2020. McKay's extensive experience in the arts includes positions such as Vice President of Marketing & Finance at Symphony Silicon Valley, General Manager/Executive Director at Empress Theatre, and various stage management roles at notable institutions including Ballet San Jose and Arkansas Repertory Theatre. McKay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama: Tech Theater & Management from San Francisco State University, complemented by earlier studies at Walla Walla University.
