Joni Ariel completed their Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Anthropology at Florida State University from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they pursued non-degree seeking education in the field of Education at Delta State University.

Joni continued their education at Florida State University, earning a Master of Education (MEd) in Teaching and Learning from 2021 to 2022. Simultaneously, they enrolled at Francis Marion University, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from 2020 to 2022.
