Meia Miles Washington

Meia Miles Washington has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Meia started their career in 2008 as a Supportive Housing Specialist at Youth/Adult Care Management. In 2011, they worked as a Case Manager at RHA Health Service, Inc and simultaneously served as an Intensive In-home Qualified Professional at Primary Care Solutions Inc. In 2015, they joined One Care Behavioral Health Services as a Mobile Crisis Worker and continued until 2017. Currently, Meia holds the position of Behavioral Health Admissions Transfer Coordinator Team Lead at Carolinas HealthCare System, a role they have been in since 2016.

Meia Miles Washington completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology from Walden University, with a duration of study up until 2021. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2001, Meia earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
