Crystal Smiley has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Crystal currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Systems at Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union, where they are responsible for managing the digital banking department and leading the development and implementation of digital transformation strategies. Before this role, Crystal served as the Digital Platform Manager, Training and Lending System Analyst, Training and Development Specialist, and Branch Operations Support Specialist at the same organization. Crystal also has past experience working as a Store Manager for Carter's | OshKosh B'gosh and Bath & Body Works, as well as a Service Manager at Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company.

Crystal Smiley obtained an Associate's Degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Crystal then pursued a field of study in Human Resources Management and Services at Strayer University from 2011 to 2013. In 2018, they attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte again, where they obtained a Learning and Development Certificate.
