Danny Wharton

Danny Wharton is the current EVP & COO at Caromont Health. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Vice President-Carolinas Medical Center at Carolinas HealthCare System from November 2016 to December 2017. Danny has also been the Chief Nursing Officer-Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center at RCCH HealthCare Partners from November 2015 to November 2016. Danny started their career as the Director of Ancillary and Post Acute Services at KershawHealth in August 2007 and served there till November 2015.

Danny Wharton has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University.

They work with David O'Connor - EVP & CFO, Robin Lang - VP & CIO, and Todd Davis - EVP & Chief Physician Executive. Danny Wharton reports to Chris Peek, President & CEO.
