Cindy Rafart has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry. Cindy started their career at FEC Railways in 1979, where they served in various positions including the Railway Police Department and FEC Inspections. In their final role at FEC Railways, Cindy worked as a General Freight Inspector, responsible for visiting clients, resolving claim reports, and providing a final outlook on the causes and responsibilities associated with the claims.
In 1997, Cindy joined Seaboard Marine LTD as a Claims Adjuster for the Insurance & Claims Department. Cindy was later promoted to the role of Driver Compliance Manager, where they directed the Driver Compliance Department.
Since 2006, Cindy has been working at Carotrans International as the National Claims & Risk Management Director. In this role, they manage all cargo claims and risks cases in the U.S., reporting directly to the VP of Operations and the company's CEO. Cindy also assists with freight transport compliance matters affecting safety and security throughout the organization.
Cindy Rafart, PPIA, has a diverse education history in the field of transportation logistics and law. Cindy attended the Institute of Logistical Management (ILM) and obtained knowledge in Transportation Logistics, Law II (Freight Claims) until 2013. In 1996, Cindy Rafart also enrolled at Miami Dade College for a period of one year to study Import/Export. Cindy then participated in the CCPAC Certification Class to gain expertise in the Legal Principals Governing Freight Claims. Additionally, Cindy Rafart obtained a Certified Claims Professional certification from the Certified Claims Professional Accreditation Council, Inc. in May 2013.
