John Elliott

John Elliott has over 30 years of work experience in the technology sector. John began their career as a Network Engineer at GTECH in 1986 and worked there until 1997. John then joined Cisco Systems in 1996 and served as a Solutions Architect and later as a Technical Solutions Architect until 2016. In 2016, they established their own company, J W Elliott, LLC, where they worked as the Owner, developing network architectures and solutions for clients. In 2017, they joined Carousel Industries as a Principal Consultant, and later became the Director of Infrastructure Solutions in 2019.

John Elliott earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas, where they studied from 1982 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) from Cisco, which they obtained in March 2010, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², obtained in December 2004, and the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), which they achieved in March 1996.
