Kelvin Vuong

Kelvin Vuong has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. Kelvin is currently the Regional CTO at Carousell Group since November 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Group CTO at 701Search Pte Ltd, where they enabled engineering and product teams to innovate and create successful marketplaces in South East Asia. Kelvin also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Chợ Tốt, where they led product and technology development and fostered a collaborative and impactful environment. Kelvin was also responsible for creating products and infrastructure as the Head of Product and Technology at Chợ Tốt. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer at 701Search Pte Ltd, contributing to the establishment and enhancement of online classified websites across Asia. Kelvin began their career as a Software Engineer at Fuji Xerox Singapore, where they focused on network software development and collaboration with international teams. Kelvin gained research experience as a Student Researcher, working on a project that explored haptic information transfer through the internet at CUTE Center and Mixed Reality Lab, Singapore.

Kelvin Vuong completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the National University of Singapore from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications including "Innovation to product and services MIT's approach to design thinking" from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2017, "CITPM Associate" from Singapore Computer Society in 2013, and "CSM" from Scrum Alliance in 2012.
